What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard is the qualification that will be awarded once completed and passed end point assessment
The training will take place within the educational setting with no day release required to college and you will have regular reviews with your tutor every 4-6wks
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification
The Level 2 Early Years Practitioner prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once you have received a L2 Early Years Practitioner qualification you will be able to progress to the L3 Early Years Educator qualification where you can then start and be counted within the child-staff ratios
