What will the apprentice be doing?
As we are currently a small team, we need you to come on board and take on some of the following responsibilities:
Dealing with compliance tasks given by Tax Manager for Companies, Individuals, Partnerships and Trusts
Reviewing corporate and personal tax returns prior to client presentation
Spotting new tax planning opportunities to market to existing clients and to assist in attracting new clients.
Keep track of clients and assisting Tax Manager on ad-hoc tax projects such as R&D.
To archive files including updating spreadsheets
Answer and investigate any accounting related queries
Contact and communicate with the relevant personnel from Head Office and liaise for any accounting related issues
Cover for the other team members for daily operations when out of office
Provide reasonable support to other staff as and when required.
