What will the apprentice be doing?

We operate in a dynamic and fast-paced office. You will need the ability to time manage and prioritise multiple tasks. A good telephone manner is needed, polite manner to welcome visitors and you must be able to work alone and as part of a team. You will need good computer skills, excel and word, plus be able to work with our own bespoke system inputting orders, despatch notes and invoicing.

 Tasks may include;

  • Delivering customer service - over the phone, face to face and via email
  • Data entry including inputting orders onto the system
  • Managing invoices

 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.

As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship. Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition for these qualifications.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time position with the company and scope to progress within the team.
