What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties to all aspects of Accountancy to support the service including:
- Processing paper & digital invoices & inputting data
- Maintain ledgers & reconciliation of balances
- Administer all relevant completed paperwork records, scanning, shredding & archiving
- Filing & housekeeping of supplier invoices
- Supporting the finance team with a range of office admininstrative, ad-hoc finance related tasks as required
- Assist with month end management accounts & financial year end procedures
- Use of accounting software Sage - all training will be provided
- Take incoming finance related calls in a professional manner
- Monitor finance inbox & respond to colleagues & suppliers
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The role will consist of attending training towards Level 2 AAT qualification as part of an accountancy apprenticeship each week at Peak Accountancy Training.
There is weekly attendance and the apprentice will also be visited in the workplace to enable them to evidence the work they are carrying out as part of their apprenticeship.
