What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be a vital member of the production team in either the role of a Machine minder or a process controller.
As a Machine Minder you will work as a member of a team of operatives.
You will be responsible for the Set Up and effective operation of the process machinery to achieve production targets and quality standards.
As a Process Controller your role will be to monitor and assess the production process of our products within required product and customer spec and tight deadlines.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
All apprentices will complete their training in their workplace & will be allocated time off the job to ensure they are able to learn & develop in line with the apprenticeship programme.
The successful candidate will complete a Level 3 Food and Drink Technical Operator Advanced Apprenticeship, as well as Maths and English functional skills where required.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Your learning will not end with this Apprenticeship. Upon completion we will discuss opportunities to grow on the next level of apprenticeship programme or help you to develop in other ways by accessing some of our internal development programmes & learning resources which can lead you to anywhere you aspire to reach!
Successful Level 3 apprentices have moved on to careers in Continuous Improvement, Production Supervision and Management, Engineering Maintenance and Food Technical/Quality.
