    5 day working week from Monday to Sunday. Chefs will work some day 9am-4pm and evening shifts 4pm-11.00pm

What will the apprentice be doing?

Undertaking food preparation and service at both Brighton venues.
 Maintaining high levels of hygiene and food standards across the       restaurant.
Working amongst a team to ensure customer experience is of the upmost quality.
 Working predominantly with seafood, bringing high standards to all dishes.
 Learning to create balanced dishes for the menu.
Training in all elements of food allergens .
Managing a kitchen section to ensure smooth and effecient service.
Understanding basic food hygiene requirements

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Training to conducted in restaurant kitchens and in house training facility.
The qualification you will get at the end of the training will be
Commis Chef Level 2
The restaurants are located in Brighton Lanes district and on Brighton Seafront.

Training will be 5 days a week in the restaurants with 3-4 days per month in our dedicated training facility.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Succesful apprentices will be in a position to move to the level of Senior Commis Chef to Chef de Partie.

About the employer

We are an independent restaurant that has developed a reputation for serving the best fish and shellfish in Brighton for over 16 years. We have two restaurants located in Brightons historic Lanes and Seafront. We are open 7 days a week from 12.00pm to 11.30pm . Both restaurants can seat 40 covers internally and up to 60 covers externally.
