What will the apprentice be doing?

The successful applicant will be providing administrative support to various teams including Sales Ledger, HR and the Executive Assistant to the CEO. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Executive Assistant to the CEO, which could involve working on marketing and other general administrative tasks.  
  • Assisting the HR and Payroll Department with general administration, distributing HR and Payroll communications, updating employee records and filing.
  • Manning the switchboard as and when required, answering queries or passing on accurate information. 
  • Helping with general office administration including post, filing, sending copies of invoices, reconciling orders and delivery notes, inputting of sales invoices on the database, raising customer credits and other work as required. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You'll receive most of your training on the job with the employer and will attend term time day release at Bournemouth College.

You will achieve:

  • Business Administrator Level 3 NVQ
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths (if required)
