A Floorlayer apprenticeship will give you the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours to become a professional tradesperson. You will be working with a highly skilled floorlaying professional who will guide, help and support you throughout your apprenticeship.

What will the apprentice be doing?
The successful candidate will be learning most aspects of the company. Mainly including:
- The fitting of all types of flooring,
- Measuring floors and blinds,
- Fitting blinds,
- Estimating and quotes
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
On completion of the floorlayer level 2 Apprenticeship, the apprentice will achieve recognition that they are working at the correct professional level for a floorlayer. This will entitle them to apply for a skilled worker CSCS card. Floorlayer apprentices will also achieve a level 1 health and safety in a construction environment certificate.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once the successful candidate has completed their apprenticeship they will hopefully continue working for Concept Carpets as a fully qualified floor layer.
