What will the apprentice be doing?
The successful candidate will be learning most aspects of the company. Mainly including:
- The fitting of all types of flooring,
- Measuring floors and blinds,
- Fitting blinds,
- Estimating and quotes
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
On completion of the floorlayer level 2 Apprenticeship, the apprentice will achieve recognition that they are working at the correct professional level for a floorlayer. This will entitle them to apply for a skilled worker CSCS card. Floorlayer apprentices will also achieve a level 1 health and safety in a construction environment certificate.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once the successful candidate has completed their apprenticeship they will hopefully continue working for Concept Carpets as a fully qualified floor layer.
