Having taken on a number of apprentices within our workshop over the past 8yrs we are now looking to add to our office team. The Apprentice will develop a strong knowledge of our sector and will work with our existing office team to learn on the job and develop all necessary skills to support the general day to day running of the business.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Administration
- Collating Staff hours using existing systems to be used for payroll.
Collecting and chasing up employee timesheets and recording data on our internal systems. - Booking transport and maintaining congestion charging account.
- Preparing the post- both incoming and outgoing.
- Preparing and labelling samples to be issued to clients.
- General day to day data entry maintaining records of cost and assisting with analysis of figures.
- Booking meetings and maintaining calendars for various meeting spaces
- Collating information for O&M Manuals to be sent out to clients following completion of a project.
- Assisting with general HR responsibilities – scheduling toolbox talks, updating policies, maintaining records.
General Business Assistance - Answering and directing telephone calls, taking and relaying messages where necessary.
- Assisting with after sales care
- Taking minutes for internal meetings.
- Printing large format drawings.
- Providing admin support to various departments.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This is an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 3
It will involve a combination of on and off the job training in the workplace.
You will have monthly mentoring and guidance at work from a Craven College Learning & Development Advisor alongside weekly college attendance in Skipton.
After 18 months you will be entered to undertake an End Point Assessment, to complete your Apprenticeship.
The End Point Assessment will comprise of a Project, a Knowledge Test, and a Presentation/Interview with the assessor.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
This is a long-term role with the prospect of a full time contract on completion of the apprenticeship with the opportunity for progression within the company
