4 courses from the Bosch Diagnostic Technician Programme:
VSE1 - Essential Test Procedures
VSTD9 - Oscilloscope Operation and Signal Test Methods
VSG2 - Engine Management: Spark Ignition and Diagnosis
VSG5 - Engine Management Diagnosis of Universal Components


During the 3 year apprenticeship, training is delivered through a series of 1 week training blocks, using one of Bosch’s own training facility.

Whilst attending training at the Bosch training centre, all travel and accommodation fees are paid for by the employer, allowing participants to concentrate on learning the skills required to become a fully qualified automotive technician.

Bosch has a high focus not only on the quality of the training programme, but also for its participants’ welfare whilst completing the training and staying at allocated accommodation.


Progress Reviews

Progress reviews will be regularly organised in the workplace. This is an opportunity for the trainer to engage with both the employer and the apprentice to ensure both parties are happy with the progression being made, and allows targets to be agreed for the following months.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

You will become a fully qualified level 3 vehicle technician within a main dealer environment. You will have the opportunity to progress your career in an exciting industry which is always evolving with new technology.
