What will the apprentice be doing?
The successful candidate will carry out the following duties:
Marking off and measuring of machined components
Reading and understanding the working drawings
Wood machining and use of joinery machines such as moulders, saws, routers etc
Bonding of laminates and veneers and the use of the press
Assembly and the manufacture of all Bespoke joinery items such as tea points, rec counters, seating screens etc
Polishing & staining of joinery items and understanding of the polish and paints etc
All HSE relating to working in the factory and to ensure all tasks are carried out safely
