What will the apprentice be doing?

Magnatech LED (UK) Ltd are expanding their workforce in Sawston,
Cambridge and is currently looking for an apprentice to work in the
stores and workshop. The position will involve the selection of goods
from the warehouse, light electrical assembly to configure as required
by the customer and packing ready for despatch. The ideal candidate
will have an interest in electrical/mechanical assembly and be keen to
learn new skills.
The position will be an ideal opportunity for the right person to
develop their skills and take on more challenging roles as required in
the future.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Will work towards the Lean Manufacturing Operator Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard.

 

Functional Skills in Maths and English if prior qualifications not held. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

As a small company that has ambitions to expand rapidly over the next 2-3 years there will be a great opportunity to take on more responsibility. Where possible we try to promote from within and increase all employee's job satisfaction.

Things to consider
