What will the apprentice be doing?
There is a role for an apprentice welder to join the team.
Typical responsibilities include;
Welding and fabricating bespoke items
Maintenance Site repairs on operational plant
Problem solving and improvement analysis
General health and safety and housekeeping
Role is based in Stowmarket where we are resident on-site maintenance contractor with a dedicated team and Site Manager

- Full Level 2 General Welder (ARC Processes) Apprenticeship Standard.
- Functional Skills if required
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The companies aim would be to nurture the apprentices’ skills throughout the course and onsite to bring them to a standard where they can weld unsupervised to a high standard. We would also teach them general fabrication skills.Requirements and prospects
