What will the apprentice be doing?
- At our Birchwood Park campus, the Quality Practitioner apprentice works alongside the various Quality Managers within the Energy, Security and Technology business in Jacobs.
- Based in the Technology and Cyber Security (T&CS) operating unit you will also be part of a wider team of Jacobs Quality Professionals across the country and beyond, working collaboratively and sharing best practice and lessons learned.
- At Jacobs we believe Quality is key to the governance, oversight and successful completion of the activities that we deliver for our clients, especially so now with the increasing need for low carbon energy and enhanced focus on sustainability.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will achieve Quality Practitioner Level 4 Standard.
A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, (14 - 18 months including endpoint assessment) topics covered include –
Introduction to Quality and Quality Management Systems
Quality - Organisations and their Context
Product and Service Life Cycle and Design
Understanding and Delivering Customer Requirements
Risk, Opportunity and Objectives
Leveraging the value of Audits
Driving Improvement
Culture, Communication and Life-Long learning
You may need to complete level 2 Maths and English Functional skills (if you cannot evidence prior grades)
