What will the apprentice be doing?
- Picking Plate orders
- Cutting plate by flame cut Pod
- Operating an overhead crane
- Unloading/Loading trailers
- General warehousing
- Using all warehouse paperwork
- Inputting Warehouse production data
- Stock checking
- Driving a forktruck/sideloader/HGV Shunter
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The successful candidate will study a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative standard. This will be aided by an assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning within the workplace.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?Progression routes could be to specialize in one area of the business or other parts of the business as well as the opportunity to progress onto a higher level qualification.
