What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working with the team to develop the garden and implement the design to the customers / designers specification.
  • Respect the health and safety requirements as laid down by the company.
  • Be expected to work outside in all weathers.
  • Assist skilled team members in the construction of fencing, decking, brickwork, patios and walls. Also soft landscaping i.e. planting and turfing.
  • Keep site clean, tidy and safe
  • Deal with our customers in a polite and responsible way, and be an integral part of the team.
  • Our company is well known for our high professional standards and we expect our apprentices to help uphold these and aspire to be the best.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 2 Apprenticeship
  • 1 day a week at college

Things to consider

You need to be presentable and polite. You must be physically fit, and able to lift and move heavy objects. You will be working in all weathers. You must be able to make your own way to different site locations every day, and college every week. Driving license and own vehicle would be highly advantageous. We have zero tolerance for misconduct.
