The role is essential to Ladbrook Insurance. Supporting our Account Handlers with administrative work, essential to servicing our clients needs. However, the role is certainly not a long term administrative one. As trainees become more competent, we will start to balance the support work alongside more detailed client handling work.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Supporting Account Handlers
- Prepare client documentation
- Act as a second contact on larger accounts
Compiling Insurance Presentations with Clients
- Dealing with clients with premiums from £100-£1000.
- Discussing the quotation process with clients
- Negotiating with insurers on behalf of clients
- Joining Account Handlers to visit larger clients.
Ongoing Account Support
- Help manage small claims
- Assisting with mid term changes to policies
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level: 3 CII Certificate in Insurance - Insurance Practitioner L3 - This is an 18 months programme in total, incorporating 15 months on programme learning and 3 months for End Point Assessment.
These will be delivered every month online via the learner’s trainer; all examinations need to be passed prior to being able to go through Gateway to complete the End Point Assessment.
Once the learner passes through Gateway to complete the End Point Assessment the learner will complete a portfolio of evidence and reflective discussion all with the on-programme trainer, this will then be submitted to the EPA for marking.
