You will attend Boston College one day a week and will cover units including:
- Building of cavity walling
- Building of solid walling
- Isolated and attached piers
- The setting out of masonry structures
- The principles of building
On completion of this course, you will be able to carry out all the activities undertaken by a bricklayer, carrying out a range of tasks relating to the trade and achieve the Level 2 Bricklaying apprenticeship standard
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Fully qualified bricklayer, with a wealth of knowledge.
On completion of the L2 Bricklaying apprenticeship, you will normally be fully qualified in your chosen area of work. You will be able to work individually and use your own initiative to a higher standard.
