Kings Court Trust have a fantastic opportunity for a Legal admin to join their team. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to all departments in the business, as well as dealing with all office administration. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience whilst working towards a Legal admin Level 3 qualification.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties include;

  • Collection and delivery of post from the DX Parcel Exchange delivery point
  • Sorting, scanning and distribution of all incoming post
  • Sorting and sending daily scanning to external scanning provider each day
  • Liaising with external scanning provider, requesting copies of documents as appropriate and managing and improving working relationship
  • Archiving of case files with external archiving provider, liaising with case handlers as appropriate
  • Scanning of general documents, certificates, grants and cheques
  • Filing of documentation, ensuring filing systems and accurate records are maintained
  • Storage management including requests for Will retrievals, storage of Wills, and Will Writer correspondence
  • First point of contact for Partner system queries for Will storage and problem solving in relation to Will retrieval queries
  • Updating CRM/internal databases and inputting new enquiries on to the system
  • Setting up new files for Title Research
  • Creating Power of Attorneys/Letters of Authority on new estates
  • Carrying out administrative support for all business areas including, but not limited to legal printing, tax scanning and arranging couriers

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Business Administration Level 3 with Legal pathways
  • Functional Skills level 2 in Maths, English and ICT

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Once you have completed the apprenticeship the role can go permanent and can also move across to the Ops Team for further legal profession.
