Outdoor Activity Instructor Apprenticeship LAND & WAVE LIMITED

If you love the outdoors and want to pursue a career in it this apprenticeship scheme is the perfect opportunity to dive into something that will set your world on fire. During the course you'll gain 16 NGB qualifications PLUS a wide range of in-house qualifications, which will bolster your skills in instructing and managing groups of all ages.

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Minimum Wage Rates

  • Working week

    Winter months 9am - 5pm; summer months 8:30am - 5pm and evening sessions 7pm - 9pm. Working weekends will be expected but time off in the week will be given instead during those weeks. 30 hrs/wk Nov-Feb, up to 40hrs/wk in summer.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Winter of training - sea kayaking journeys, real rock climbing days, canoeing days
  • Lots of additional courses (NBGs)
  • Summer of instructing - you will be running sessions with school groups and adult groups.
  • Big variety of activities and locations all based around Swanage in Dorset.

Things to consider
