Outdoor Activity Instructor Apprenticeship LAND & WAVE LIMITED
If you love the outdoors and want to pursue a career in it this apprenticeship scheme is the perfect opportunity to dive into something that will set your world on fire. During the course you'll gain 16 NGB qualifications PLUS a wide range of in-house qualifications, which will bolster your skills in instructing and managing groups of all ages.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Winter of training - sea kayaking journeys, real rock climbing days, canoeing days
- Lots of additional courses (NBGs)
- Summer of instructing - you will be running sessions with school groups and adult groups.
- Big variety of activities and locations all based around Swanage in Dorset.

National Governing Body (NGB) Qualifications:
Sea kayak award
Stand up paddle-board sheltered water award
Foundation safety & rescue training
Coastal navigation & tidal planning
Rock climbing instructor training
Lowland leader training
Lowland leader assessment
Duke of Edinburgh expedition supervisor/assessor
Outdoor first aid - 16 hoursLevel 2 safeguarding course
Level 2 bushcraft instructor
Water safety management program level 3
Food Hygiene Level 2
Internal training / 'soft non-accredited skills':-
Slip 'n' slide
The training will be block release through the winter then plenty of time to put this into practice through the summer.
