What will the apprentice be doing?
Completing all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gathering any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
Complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.
Learn reactive and installation work.
Learn preventive work and paperwork.
To work with CCTV, intruder, fire and access control disciplines.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Fire Emergency & Security Systems Technician Level 3 is the qualification you will recieve at the end of the 3 years.
We have a fully equipped training centre in Warrington, Cheshire where the apprentice will need to attend on a pathway specific block release basis (5 days every 10 to 12 weeks) for the duration of the programme. We also have satellite centres in Birmingham (James Watt Campus at BMET) and Oxford where apprentices can also attend our apprenticeship training programme. Training at our satellite centres are on a block release basis, 5 days every 10 to 12 weeks. We are opening another training centre in Watford, Spring 2022, with the attendance mirroring that of our other training centres.
