What will the apprentice be doing?
The job is to arrange shipments, either import or export, by sea freight. Full taining and support will be provided and your duties will include:
Liaising with customers
Learning how to quote for new jobs
Arranging of the shipments
Dealing with Customs and Excise, shipping lines, truckers etc
Preparing all documentation involved in this process
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will gain a Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service. You will meet with your assessor monthly for face to face or virtual meetings at the workplace with any necessary additional training days at our city centre campus in agreement with your employer.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
