This role will give you the experience, working on a busy construction site Capturing the knowledge & experience of a qualified craftsperson to understand the trade, tasks will include, but not limited to installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical pipework services.

What will the apprentice be doing?
· Work indoors and outdoors and be prepared to sometimes work at height
· Work with little or no supervision; relying on their own initiative
· Be prepared to travel away from home
· Develop good working relationships with people
· Read both building and engineering drawings
· Understand pipework installation drawings and schematics
· Select (within limits) materials and equipment
· Test and commission mechanical installations
· Diagnose and rectify faults

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attend college one day a week or block release and work towards a Level 3 Building Services Engineering Craftsperson.
You will attend Salford college.
driving licence desirable but not essential.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On successful completion you will be able to progress through the trade and potentially secure a permanent role.
