What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Participating in the day to day running of the setting.
  • Planning and assisting with setting up different activities for the children, keeping the children engaged, as well as participating with the activities.
  • Observing the children and assisting on days out as well as in the setting.
  • Gain as much practical experience as possible throughout the apprenticeship.
  • Ensuring the setting is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Assisting with checks around the setting.
  • Keeping up to date with all coursework.
  • Assisting the children with the bathroom, as well as changing nappies.
