We are a Firm of Solicitors with offices in Southampton city centre, Romsey, Shirley, Totton and Wickham. We pride ourselves on our personal style of service. We are looking for an office assistant to support with the every day running of the business - the ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn new skills.

Hourly rate will be between £4.81 to £5.50
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

What will the apprentice be doing?
Your working week will be varied but typical roles and responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and Greeting Clients
- Reception telephone duties
- Maintaining office standards
- Preparing meeting rooms and diary management
- Stationery supply and ordering
- Photocopier maintenance
- Administrative support to other staff
There are two positions available - 1 at our Romsey office and 1 at our Shirley office.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
Much of the training will be undertaken ‘on the job’, supported by regular visits from a qualified assessor. There will also be a requirement for you to attend workshops on a regular basis
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The Firm fully supports job progression and following a satisfactory completion of the apprenticeship the successful candidate is likely to be offered continued employment with a rise in salary.
