    Monday to Thursday 9am to 5:15pm and Friday 9am to 4:45pm. Opportunity to work from home (four times a week) and our Cambridge office (once per week). Apprentices can then choose to work fully remote on successful completion of the training period.

What will the apprentice be doing?

We provide comprehensive, on-the-job training. The role will expose you to many different career-expanding opportunities. Some of the tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of Monthly Invoice Back-up.
  • Completion of Reporting templates.
  • Detailed Analysis & Reconciliation.
  • Audit preparation and checks.

  • In the first instance, Level 2 Book Keeping course at First Intuition.
  • AAT training (level 3) with First Intuition.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The applicant will train under First Intuition Cambridge for their level 3 Assistant Accountant qualification. They will be expected to attend regular in-centre tuition courses throughout a 12 - 14-month period which will help develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours in accountancy-related practices. First Intuition Cambridge Ltd has Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, and Peterborough centres.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The overall scheme runs for approximately 20 months after which we will look to promote the candidate to an associate-level position upon interview and they can continue their studies to either complete Level 4 AAT or CIMA/ACCA where we will implement the current study leave policy offered to all finance analysts.
