What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties include:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls or re-directing as appropriate
  • Fully meeting to needs of clients ensuring they consistently receive outstanding customer service
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to support the finance function
  • Provide a full administration support service across the business - typically, emails, daily post, data entry and filing
  • Administration and processing of purchase invoices
  • Assisting the team with any other needs
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The succesful candidate will work toward the Level 3 Business Administrator standard.  A 100% tailored training and assessment programme will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, (18 months including endpoint assessment) topics covered include –

Interpersonal Skills
Planning and Organisation

You may need to complete level 2 Maths and English Functional skills (if you cannot evidence prior grades).

About the employer

Tony Team was founded in 1974, originally importing waste compactors from the US, notably the Tony Team ‘Trash packer’. From the mid-1980s Tony Team designed and manufactured their own range of bag compactors, followed by the hugely successful bin compactors in the early-1990s.
