What will the apprentice be doing?
We're the main UK and Ireland importer and distributor for the famous and iconic Duralex brand of glassware, dinnerware, and cookware.
We are now one of the leading independent national suppliers of tableware products to the foodservice and retail markets in the UK.
We're searching for a committed apprentice for our admin/sales support department to join our small, welcoming team!
Customers include big-name national retail chains, foodservice providers, and single-site business owners. In order to quickly spot the newest trends and introduce goods to meet these needs, we closely collaborate with our chosen manufacturing partners.
Working as a team, you will
- Assist the Manager with the day-to-day management of processing sales, which includes customer interaction, online orders, and general inquiries.
- Raising quotes, following up on quotes, and monitoring customer satisfaction.
- Updating internal systems, such as customer reports, phone payments, email payments, and other ad hoc general administrative tasks.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Full on-the-job and off-the-Job training will be delivered supported by our Training Provider – Davidson Training UK Ltd.
All training will be carried out within the workplace during working hours.
Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Mathematics (if you already do not hold the equivalent).
Full training will be given leading to a recognised Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You will be considered for a permanent position, dependent on your performance after the Apprenticeship Programme has been completed.
