What will the apprentice be doing?
- Logistics, planning engineers’ day of work.
- Undertake and lead reactive jobs including ordering materials to ensure planned works run successfully.
- Use in house system to scope and monitor day to day tasks.
- Minute taking during meetings and creating logs as appropriate.
- Answering telephone calls and calling customers providing excellent customer service.
- Dealing with complaints as and when needed via telephone with customers.
- Provide recommendations of improvements to management.
- Create reports to send to clients.
- Review other members of the team’s work.
- Apply problem solving skills and resolve any issues that arise throughout the day with reactive jobs.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- The apprentice will be working towards the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard.
- All delivered within the work place via online training and at Colchester Institute Campus.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Future roles within the company could be Maintenance Co-ordinator or a team leader.
