Things to consider

The job role largely involves ‘getting your hands dirty’. We are a responsive business so deal with a lot of breakdowns, this will on occasion mean overtime will be required to get the customer up and running depending on the situation.

About the employer

We are a small family run business based in Wormingford. We specialise in the repair of hydraulic cylinders, which involves re-manufacturing damaged components such as chrome rods, tubes, glands and pistons. This is all done using the many lathes, mills, drills and welders in the workshop. In addition, we also carry out agricultural repairs to damaged machinery and equipment and replace damaged components such as valves and hoses. We also carry out on site maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical equipment as well as the occasional fabrication job and have recently invested in a small CNC machine that we hope will take the business forward.
