What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Learn all aspects of pre-press and design, impositions, proofing and CAD sampling
  • Learn about the high number of design parameters and design constraints
  • Learn colour management
  • Follow the rules and regulations set out by your mentor / manager
  • Ensure you complete your set tasks each day 
  • Your workspace is left tidy and clean

Correct level of pay will be discussed at interview dependant on age of applicant. You will also be considered for L2 & L3 in Print - You will be assessed by the company and L2P before starting the apprenticeship

Our facility is equipped with cut and crease presses, with window patching units that can incorporate acetate viewing material into the printed pack. The latest gluing machines in our production facility allows a variety of styles including straight line, crash lock, four corner as well as nested trays and double wall boxes. Additional Finishes from Foil blocking, embossing, lamination and Spot UV varnishing are just some of the additional process products that are also available.
