What will the apprentice be doing?
Over the course of the apprenticeship programme, you will
spend the equivalent of four days per week developing your practical skills within a fast-moving financial team and one day a week taking part in ad hoc projects, learning about the wider business, and studying for your apprenticeship.
We will aim to provide a varied workload that incorporates modules of the Assistant Accountant
Apprenticeship programme whilst providing real-world experience. Responsibilities will include:
- Balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations
- Assist with month end and year end accounts
- Support purchase and sales ledger functions
- Assist with updating and maintaining the fixed asset register
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Strode College are managing applications on behalf of the employer
- Training will be one day at week at Strode College, Street, Somerset
- You will recieve a Level 4 qualification
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
