    £4.81 per hour increasing to £5.29 per after a successful 3-month review. Increasing in line with the NMW after the first year of study is complete.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Based on Milner Way is Ossett, Kolorcraft are a leading producer of printed point of sale material.  With an enviable blue chip client base made up of high-profile retailers and brands, their aim is to provide a complete service to the client, not available from any competitors. 

They are now looking to provide a new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to gain experience within the print industry. 

The Apprentice will shadow and work alongside their Fulfilment team.  Reporting directly to the Fulfilment Manager, full on the job training will be provided as well as any courses seen to be relevant to this post. 

Key Objectives include:

  • Following guidelines set to achieve the Apprenticeship Standard by carrying out the required course work required with on-the-job training and off-the-job training.
  • Gain a full understanding of all duties related to the Fulfilment processes including dealing with internal and external customers, as well as the administrative processes required.
  • Perform all customer helpdesk & administrative tasks relating to Fulfilment operations whilst ensuring that all documentation is produced efficiently and accurately.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a Customer Service Practitioner Standard. Completion of this apprenticeship will lead to eligibility to join the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at Professional level. On successful completion of Level 2, you can move on to study Level 3 apprenticeships, such as Customer Service Specialist and Business Administrator Apprenticeship.

Training will take place at National Business College, based in the centre of Huddersfield. You will attend sessions on a day release basis, once every fortnight.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On successful completion of Level 2, you can move on to study Level 3 apprenticeships, such as Customer Service Specialist and Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
