What will the apprentice be doing?

Its an exciting time within the Telecoms industry with some of the biggest changes in its history with how communications are provisioned. This creates a wealth of opportunity.

  • Contact existing and new possible customers to advise of the pending changes with the industry that will affect their communications.
  • To help assist with giving the best advice on solutions for them, to qualify opportunities and pass onto a senior account manager where applicable.
  • To assist with sales administration tasks.
  • eventually offer professional and consultative advice leading to a sale (subject to suitable in house training)
  • Develop into a competant and professional sales person capable of making technical sales at all levels within a business.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • IT Technical Salesperson Apprenticeship Level 3
  • Supplmented by significant in house training, in commercial and presentational aspects of account management and sales.
  • Considerable product and service training offered, utilising our significant partner training resources.
  • General Business Training.
  • All of the above augmented by the structured training offered by Cirencester college who are the training partner for this apprenticeship.


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The successful candidate will be well prepared to step into either a Desk Agent, Field Sales Engineer, Marketing or Product Marketing role. This is a very useful starting place for a commercial career in IT/Telecoms/MSP environment.
