What will the apprentice be doing?

A small independent nursery, with constant support and supervision provided. You will be working with children from 6 months to 5 years.
Induction is included, along with uniform that is provided. A Mentor will be provided and will be available at all times.
Training is given for the individual to become an equal participant within the team, allowing for skills and levels.
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to;

Ensure all areas are clean and tidy
Assist in maintaining a good level of behaviour
Fully involved with activities with the children
Become an assistant key worker
Assist with mealtimes in particular the H&S of the children

Nursery hours are Monday to Friday 8am-18.00 – structure to be negotiated.
Holidays are to be taken at specific times when the nursery closes. Open 48 weeks per year. To be discussed.
Close to St Johns Lewisham Mainline Station (5 minutes walk) also on a main bus route.
