A Level 2 in Food Hygiene is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. More than skills and experience, we are looking for someone who is a correct culture fit within the team. We are looking for someone who asks questions, is a quick learner, someone who can keep up with the fast paced environment. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can grow with us, and someone who cares about the work they do and wants to do their best work.

About the employer

Our Company Purpose is ‘To make people feel like they belong’. This is the driving force behind what we do. It’s the why, it’s the reason Maray exists. Giving people a sense of belonging is at the heart of why we open our doors daily. This relates to how we make our guests feel, but also how we make our people feel, how we interact with each other and anybody that walks through our door. We are an award-winning restaurant group founded in Liverpool in 2014. Our Middle-Eastern-inspired food, creative, punchy drinks and dedication to exceptional hospitality have earned us a die-hard following since opening. We opened our first, 36-cover restaurant on Bold Street in the summer of 2014 and since then have gone from strength to strength, developing into an ambitious, growing company with an incredibly talented and passionate team. We now have three Maray Restaurants in Liverpool, and Maray Manchester is set to open in July 2022, our first project outside of Liverpool. The site is located on Brazennose Street, right next to ‘The Hidden Gem’ church, a stone’s throw from Albert Square and Deansgate. This will be our largest site so far, featuring a wraparound terrace, perfect for sipping those delicious cocktails on a warm summer’s evening. Opening in Manchester is something we have been working towards for a long time now, and we are super excited to spread our wings in our neighbouring city. Our goal is to add even more chapters to the Maray story nationally, creating opportunities for everyone in the company who wants to progress in their careers in hospitality.
