What will the apprentice be doing?

To learn and apply the following print skills:

  • Screen Printing
  • Pad Printing
  • Hot Foil Printing
  • Sublimation Printing
  • To make stencils
  • To wash off used stencils
  • Racking off printed plates
  • To locate orders
  • To mix colours in line with PMS book
  • To prepare plastic plates

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Apprenticeship Standard for Print Operative


  • One day per month study offsite workplace with Learn2print

  • Functional Skills in Maths and English (If required)

Company will provide training to cover: ISO9001 and ISO14001 Health and Safety Training

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time position within the company is available to the right candidate on completion of the apprenticeship programme.
