Bricklaying Apprentice MR DANIEL WALKER

The successful candidate will work as part of a team and will be applying bricks, blocks and pavers, you will also be cutting and aligning and prepareing mortar by hand and by mixer. You will be settig out work areas with some manual lifting. Due to the nature of the or work a CSCS card is required to be able to get onto the construction sites.

What will the apprentice be doing?

The successful apprentice will learn how to use all the specialist hand tools, machinery and power tools associated with this role. You will need to show attention to detail when cutting and aligning brickwork and slabs.

About the employer

Daniel started his career as an apprentice over 5 years ago .After gaining his qualifications he decided to go self employed and start his own business. The work they do takes them all over Devon and Cornwall and mainly consists of block and brick work, normally on new build sites and occasionally stone work.
