What will the apprentice be doing?

Motus Commercials is an approved DAF Commercial Vehicle dealership located in Avonmouth and is on the lookout for a dedicated Commercial Vehicle Service Administrator Apprentice to become a fully qualified Service Administrator. As our new Apprentice, you will join our friendly Team which will see you working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 16.30 in our approved DAF dealership service Team.

The rapid evolution of today’s commercial vehicles and technology keeping them running means that first class training for apprentices involved in the vital service and maintenance of these vehicles is more important than ever. This apprentice programme gives you the chance to join the select group of Service Administrators assisting in maintaining some of the most modern, sophisticated vehicles on the road keeping the country running.

What Will You Be Doing?

Motus Commercials in Avonmouth is an approved DAF Dealership and are hiring a new Commercial Vehicle Service Administrator Apprentice who can learn how to manage our service reception in an efficient manner ensuring customers vehicles are being maintained to the correct standards

  • Providing exceptional customer service using various forms of communication for example in person, phone, or email.
  • Providing administration support to the workshop for example correctly invoicing vehicles upon completion ensuring a swift turn around for payment of work carried out.
  • Liaise with the workshop to monitor vehicle progress and drive a process ensuring vehicles are updated on the system and with the customer to maintain Brilliant customer relationships both internally and externally.
  • Dealing with customer queries.
  • Exceeding customer expectation by ensuring you are part of a
  • Brilliant Team which provides a quality service to all customers getting their vehicles back on the road to keep our country running.
  • To undertake hands on training within the Service Department by working with your nominated mentor.
  • To understand key performance targets and support your colleagues and team to achieve them
  • To embrace all opportunities of learning and developing alongside some of our already Brilliant fully skilled Service Administrators.
  • To attend recognised courses of instruction and achieve the correct pass mark for each course.
  • To always work to the best of his/her ability.
  • To respect the property of the Company and any property for which the Company is responsible, or which is in their care.
  • To assist with general housekeeping duties required within the service reception area.
  • To enjoy your time as a Brilliant Colleague within Motus Commercials.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administrator Level 3.

This apprenticeship programme is delivered with a blended learning approach and includes a mixture of onsite tutor visits and online tutor led sessions. All delivery is completed in the workplace and you will not need to attend any off-site training.
