What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties to include:
- To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others by carrying out on going risk assessments.
- To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years.
- To work as part of a team.
- To be responsible for any tasks delegated by management.
- To complete all academic aspects of the apprenticeship.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner.
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
- End Point Assessment – Knowledge Test and Professional Discussion.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
