What will the apprentice be doing?

Outline of day-to-day duties: Start with assisting us loading the truck with the required tools for the day. Working alongside us on the jobs scheduled.

Ground based works include clearing tree debris, raking up hedge cuttings and using our woodchippers.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 ST0223 Arborist Apprenticeship Standard. Nonregulated provision, Level 2, Horticulture and Forestry 4342.

About the employer

We are a small arboriculture business, working closely with both commercial and domestic clients. We pride ourselves on our expert tree pruning, tree removal, hedge management and stump grinding. We have successfully built a strong client base and obtained a high reputation within the local area. We are always looking for ways to expand the business and would like to take on an apprentice to work alongside us and to pass on some value, knowledge, and experience.
