What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include:

  • Tending to their physical needs throughout the day
  • Helping children develop social and practical skills

  • Diploma in Children's Learning and Development (Early Years Educator) (QCF) Level 3
  • Early Years Educator Personal Attributes and Behaviours
  • BTEC Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid
  • EPA Preperation

Subject to Prior Attainment:

  • Functional Skills English Level 2
  • Functional Skills maths Level 2

Kids R Us is based in Leytonstone, London. Kids R Us is located in an extremely spacious church hall, which is split into three age groups, pre-school, toddlers and babies. Kids R Us offers integrated play between pre-school and toddlers due to mixed class sessions. Babies have a separate classroom. Kids R Us has a fantastic natural outdoor area encouraging the children to develop upon their exploratory skills. Exploration of nature is encouraged by the practitioners and facilitated by the trees and environment around Kids R Us. There is also an outdoor sensory room which complements the outdoor area greatly. Kids R Us Nursery also offers a holiday, breakfast and after school club for children up to the age of 8 years.
