What will the apprentice be doing?

Mechanical Engineering Technician Level 3

The apprentice will be responsible for the inspection and repair and upkeep of our product range. You will follow precise standard operating procedures to process repairs with excellent attention to detail.  

  • Inspection, repair and commissioning of customer owned Endomag Equipment
  • Diligently work to a precise set of procedures and protocols
  • Ensure all related documentation is completed correctly with utmost accuracy
  • Work with Product Engineering to develop and refine repair procedures
  • Work with QA team to investigate quality incidents

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The Apprenticeship will involve attending college during term time.
In year 1, day release is 3 days in-college and with regular work-based assessments conducted by the College Assessor. In Years 2 and 3, day release is one day in-college.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The main career route is into Product Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.

Things to consider

You will be required to work at our offices, based at Cambridge Science Park. There will be very limited opportunities to work remotely.
