What will the apprentice be doing?
To advise existing & potential new customers on the best value parts & consumables for their individual applications maintaining an excellent standard of service, whilst also endeavouring to up sell related products from approved suppliers.
- Work to branch sales & margin targets.
- Assist the branch in completing daily, weekly, monthly tasks as specified by the Branch Manager, to include warehouse, goods in & out.
- Maintain accurate control of individual stock.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 2 Customer service practitioner apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required. Delivered through on site classroom delivery at our campus and one to one specialist training.
You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession. You will experience a blended learning model. You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.
At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
For the right candidate, we will continue to invest in your personal and career development using higher level apprenticeship programmes or short courses along with in-house training.
