What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include:

  • Reception duties and booking appointments.
  • Meeting and greeting clients on arrival and offering refreshments.
  • Assisting stylists with all services - shampoo and condition hair, colouring, perming and cutting.
  • Ensuring the salon is kept clean and tidy at all times.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will obtain upon completion a Level 2 Hairdressing Standard Qualification once you have passed all elements of your apprenticeship. You will attend Tameside College weekly at our Wellington Road Campus, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 6BL.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Progress onto a level 3 Hairdressing apprenticeship.
