What will the apprentice be doing?

The apprentice will learn skills in different machines, (but can specialise in a machine of their choice) learning skills in CNC machining, lathes, furnace loading, presses, etc. Also, a rotation of time will be spent in other departments such as export, CAD & goods in. Training will be given in health & safety and personal development skills

Functional Skills in maths and English if required
Development of knowledge, skills & behaviours required to complete the Engineering Operative Standard.

Things to consider

Candidates should be able to travel to both our site at Staplehurst and the Medway campus for their course. The work is primarily within a factory environment.
