What will the apprentice be doing?
The Apprentice will be:
- Collating and analysing near miss information to support the head of group QHSE and the QHSE manager implement appropriate corrective actions
- Collating and analysing accident/incident information to support the head of group QHSE and the QHSE manager implement appropriate corrective actions
- Tracking QHSE corrective actions and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure the timely completion.
- Preparation of QHSE information for management and board meetings
- Liaising with sub-contractors in line with the pre-planned preventative maintenance schedule.
- Updating and collating sub-contractor information
- Liaising and arranging reactive maintenance activity as and when required.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
L3 Apprenticeship Standard in Business Administrator
Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths (if required)
End-Point Assessment (EPA):
- Knowledge test
- Portfolio based interview
- Project presentation
Delivery Method
- 14 sessions delivered at Loughborough (Thurs AM)
- Online portfolio to update with learning and development completed onsite
- Diarised visits from dedicated Trainer/Assessor
- Attendance to Loughborough College for Functional Skills (if required)
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
There is a potential career progression into Quality, Health, Safety and Environment manager or maintenance manager. But the Apprenticeship will allow the apprentice to work closely with all areas of the business and be able to transfer the skills they have learnt to other areas of the business.
