What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Support the office in general administration duties
  • Use MS Office software, mainly Excel and Word
  • Ensure all paperwork, stationary etc is all packed and checked off a list ready to send to each event ahead of time
  • Manage and input data into various spreadsheets on Excel
  • Use our in-house software to arrange our events
  • Process every invoice sent in by our staff ensuring that the commission they have applied for is correct. Deal with queries with their Invoices and altering the invoices where appropriate
  • You will be responsible for looking after all uniform orders and will detail this on our spreadsheet, keeping a clear and efficient log of all purchases. You will communicate with staff about their orders
  • Keeping the staff portal (in-house system) up to date
  • Maintaining the instructor grading system and checking that they are up to date and correct.

L3 Apprenticeship Standard in Business Administrator

Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths (if required)

End-Point Assessment (EPA):

  • Knowledge test
  • Portfolio based interview
  • Project presentation

Delivery Method

  • 14 sessions delivered at Loughborough (Thurs AM)
  • Online portfolio to update with learning and development completed onsite
  • Diarised visits from dedicated Trainer/Assessor
  • Attendance to Loughborough College for Functional Skills (if required)
