What will the apprentice be doing?
Inglewood Manor, an enchanting hotel in the heart of Cheshire are looking to recruit an Apprentice Commis Chef to join our friendly kitchen team.
We are currently looking for someone who is passionate about cooking and committed to developing on their current skills to grow with our expanding Company.
The successful candidate will be taught basic traditional cookery using top of the range equipment as well as everything Health and Safety related.

- All produce used on site comes from an extensive kitchen garden where we grow a wide variety of fruit and veg.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The candidate will follow a Level 2 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a full Level 2 NVQ Commis Chef Standard. This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West. If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 1 Functional Skill in the relevant subject.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Training to progress in the business such as Chef De Partie and on to a full time position.
