From large, new build, health facilities to domestic installations for an individual family, Arjo work across the spectrum within many sectors. Field Role so not based in Dunstable. What will the apprentice be doing?
- During the apprenticeship, you will be trained to observe and adhere to all health and safety codes and practices, operate plant machinery e.g. drilling and cutting materials, and assist in surveys and carrying out installation of Arjo equipment into long-term and acute healthcare facilities in the UK.
Arjo UK have two vacancies both field roles:
- Applicant 1: In and around M25, work will mainly be London / out skirts of London based. But could be required to travel further East, or maybe along M4 Corridor towards Reading.
- Applicant 2: Sheffield / Manchester, work will mainly be between Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds & Liverpool. Possibly slightly further North towards York and Hull, again depending on orders.
You must be able to drive and have been driving for at least 1 year.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 3 Healthcare Engineer Specialist Technician Apprenticeship Standard
- Company Training Plan.
- Level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) at College (Knowledge).
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma delivered in the workplace (Skills).
- Level 2 Functional Skills (if not exempt).
- End Point Assessment
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The role would naturally move the candidate towards a full-time installations engineer. However, with the knowledge gained, a potential step could be towards our project design team.
